Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 70 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 29 March.
The first auction stood at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 91 days on 30 June 2026, according to official data.
Carrying a 273-day maturity period until 29 December this year, the second offering was valued at EGP 45 billion.
On 26 March, the CBE announced T-bills worth EGP 90 billion through two auctions.
